The Lunar and Planetary Institute is taking families and students on an adventure. Join us to meet Mars scientist Dr. Candice Bedford and learn all about the Perseverance rover and its journey to Mars. We will also conduct an easy fun activity together, geared for families with children ages 7-13.

Participating Talent: 

Dr. Justin Filiberto is a senior staff scientist at the Lunar and Planetary Institute, where he studies volcanism and how the crusts and mantles of Mars and other planets have changed over time.

Dr. Patricia Craig studies Mars, particularly clay minerals on Mars and identifying areas on Mars that were or are conducive to life. She is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist with the Planetary Science Institute.
