Remember to refer to official sources, such as the CDC or World Health Organization for general guidelines and the Maryland Department of Health for local reports.

All programs have been suspended for the foreseeable future.

Please continue to check our social media for STEM center and program updates!

As part of our response to COVID-19, we are taking this time while our doors are closed to evaluate alternative scenarios that will provide immersive opportunities for educators, students and the community. We will continue to keep you updated on our progress.

We encourage everyone to continue social distancing and practicing preventative measures such as wearing protective equipment (masks, gloves, etc.), maintaining a 6 foot distance between others, and staying home to ensure your safety!

Feel free to contact Dr. Amanda Smith Hackler, USRA Director of Education, with any questions: [email protected]

The USRA STEMaction Center is dedicated to providing a safe and supervised work environment for upcoming youth involved in STEM. We uphold these excellent safety standards by providing safe working conditions, as well as useful, protective equipment and instructional guidance in order to maintain the integrity of the center. Please consult the provided resources below, or if you're planning on visiting the center, explore the various safety posters and procedures located in different spots around the center, and/or seek assistance from STEM Center employees regarding any relevant questions or concerns you may have.
